Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26 1991) is better known under her real title Ari Lennox is an American singer and songwriter from Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist associated with J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records. Her first EP, Pho was released on the 21st of October, 2016 and was released through Dreamville Records. She began to gain fame. Shea Butter Baby is her debut album. The album was released in May 2019. Ari Lennox has released her music online since 2012, with the release of her debut mixtape "Five Finger Discount" and her EP Ariography. In 2014, she continued to upload her music via the internet including her independently release single Bound. The song Sweat it included on Omen's Elephant Eyes album which dropped on July 21, 2015. J. Cole asked her to join him in collaboration for Rihanna's reference. In the following season, the music was circulating around Dreamville. She was officially signed to Dreamville Records on 8 D
